Indoor Pickleball at Marquette Senior Center (Baraga Gym)
The Superiorland Pickleball Club (SLPC) offers indoor pickleball at the Baraga Gym, located in the Marquette Senior Center at 300 W Spring St. in Marquette, MI. The gym has four indoor wood courts with permanent lines and portable nets, and restrooms are available for players. Join in the fun every Saturday with designated play times for various skill levels:
- Advanced: 12:30–2:30 PM
- Intermediate: 1:30–3:30 PM
- Novice: 2:30–4:30 PM
Cost: $5 for SLPC members, $8 for non-members. Volunteers who assist with fee collection play for free. If interested, contact the club for more information.

Outdoor Courts at Sands Township Park Complex
Sands Township Park, located at 987 State Hwy. M-553 in Gwinn, MI, offers outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. The facility includes a playground, pavilion, and pit toilets for convenience. The courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, making it a great spot for a casual game with friends and family.
Pickleball Lessons, Classes and Clinics
Classes are occasionally hosted at the Baraga Gym, presented by CONNECT MARQUETTE. These sessions provide excellent opportunities for beginners and experienced players to learn new skills and refine techniques. Stay updated on available classes through SLPC’s Facebook group.
